Today, as every year, i've a thought for the anniversary of my Temari.

ShikaTema love story and thought about the community

~They started off as rivals. She was impressed by his skills.
~She saved his life and told him she’ll do it again if it’s needed wearing a large TENDER smile on her face. He thought she’s even scarier than his mum, but she has a beautiful smile.
~He opened himself to her after his first failed mission as a leader. She comforted him in her own way letting him know these things happen, no need to blame himself.
~They worked together in the next chunin exams, he was her guide in Konoha. One time Naruto noticed there’s something going on between them and asked Shikamaru if they’re on a date. They both denied.
~Shikamaru took his mission about guiding Temari very seriously, even waking up earlier than usually to check on her, which is very strange knowing how lazy Shikamaru is. He asked her why is she leaving without even having breakfast. She was in a hurry, so he accompanied her towards the gates where she encouraged Shikamaru to become a jounin letting the impression that she cares about Shikamaru and his ninja status more than Shikamaru himself. Her wide smile seemed to have made him uncomfortable as he looked on elsewhere scratching the back of his head.
Temari looked up to Shikamaru’s father, even thinking his father couldn’t be other than extremely intelligent and an amazing strategist just like his son. She motivated Shikamaru to try better to not let his father down. She reminded him of his position and how important he is in this war also trying to motivate him.
~Temari acknowledged Shikamaru’s potential to even become a Hokage. She was the only one to ever do that. She has high expectations from him because she knows his true potential that even Shikamaru seem to ignore.
~It is showed that Shikamaru had a most wishful dream in which there were his dead father, his dead sensei and their wives, but there was also Temari. They both observed their marriages and agreed that marriage is “too obnoxious”, or at least Shikamaru wanted her to agree on that.
~Despite that, they still got married and had a son named Shikadai. Temari is showed now living in Konoha and Shikamaru is the Hokage advisor.

This is the short version about the ShikaTema Love Story.

And people are still wondering why Shikamaru and Temari are together, people still think they are not meant for each other, people think their relationship is abusive or boring or doesn’t make sense. Well, it doesn’t matter what haters think; haters don’t matter; other Shikamaru or Temari ships don’t matter, all that matters is that they are together and have this beautiful intelligent perfect child; that ShikaTema has it’s wonderful shippers that defends it and makes it even more beautiful with their fanarts and their fanfics and their headcanons; that Shikatema has other numerous hints trough fillers,openings/endings, movies, Shikamaru’s novel and most importantly it’s canon in the manga because KISHIMOTO chose SHIKATEMA.
